Abstract

Manuel Atanasio Fuentes (1820-1889) proposed a vision of Lima and the Limeño that was not entirely personal. In his texts he collected from his environment the characteristics that forged the idea of Peru that an important fraction of Peruvians assumed, divulged and that could be said to still persist in conservative sectors.
