Malevich: the painter of energy

Abstract

Twelve years have passed since the October Revolution and only six years remain before the painter's death. Against the tide Malevich has managed to mount a solo exhibition with his suprematist paintings. A few days later the exhibition was dismantled and he was imprisoned for three months, accused of being a spy in the service of the Germans.
