Abstract

Alberto Escobar is a relevant figure in the field of contemporary Peruvian literary criticism. He has made innumerable and decisive contributions to a better knowledge of our literary expressions from all periods, and his works are notable for their philological rigour, their critical acuity and their procedural and historical vision of the authors, themes, genres or issues they address.
