"Patio de Letras" in its fourth edition

Abstract

We present to the public the fourth edition of Patio de Letras by Alberto Escobar. It is absolutely unusual in Peru for a book of literary criticism, a volume that brings together quite specialized textual analysis, to see the light on a fourth occasion. The only explanation that can be given is that Patio de Letras has achieved the status of a classic, it is one of those books that last, that manage to stand the test of time and remain valid as models, despite the passing of the years.
