Abstract

Latin American literary criticism is currently undergoing an accentuated process of renewal, within which the most productive trend is undoubtedly that which, without renouncing a rethinking of its theoretical foundations and an evaluation of the methodological instruments at its disposal, is concerned with the teleology of the discipline and its strategy in terms of the knowledge and development of the Latin American people.
