Grammatical relationship between the morphemes -tsu 'negative' ;and -ku 'interrogative' in Huaraz Quechua
Abstract
In most Quechua varieties, the morpheme for questioning and denying is -chu. However, in the Quechua of Huaraz and surrounding areas that belong to Quechua I, the morphemes that mark the interrogation and the denial are formally different, these are -ku and -tsu, respectively. The origin of this difference has remained unresolved until today in the research work on this language.Downloads
