About linguistic transfer in Andean Spanish

Abstract

The coexistence of linguistic codes of communication inside the same territorial area develops into a type of bilingualism where the managing of the second language attests the structural guidelines that the mother language imposes. The terms used to characterize this phenomenon have happened with great or little luck, with major or minor empirical adequacy. The present work proposes to present a review of them, with special reference to the concept of transfer.
