Abstract

When studying the Piuran vocabulary, we will take Lima's as a point of reference because it is its speech, like that of all capitals, considered normative within the country and because, given the fruitful and long life of Spanish in 'America and the great differences of race and environment between the Spanish speakers of both continents, the direct comparison of the Piuran dialect with the Castilian language would be, in this case, artificial and unproductive
